How are Ester Bijoux jewels made?

Our jewellery is handmade by covering leaves, flowers, seeds and natural shells.
The latter, after being collected and carefully cleaned, are subjected to a copper plating treatment which protects them and makes them resistant .After this process they are plated with silver or gold.
At the end of the electrodeposition phases, the pieces are rinsed, dried and polished by hand.

How can I differentiate between your real plated leaves from the printed ones on the market?

Recognizing an Ester Bijoux product which is made entirely by hand, from an industrially printed object printed is very simple. In fact, our products, containing natural elements (leaves, seeds, etc.), will always be different from each other in shape, size and details, which makes them unique, inimitable and easily recognizable.

Do all your products have a natural base?

Esterbijoux specializes in the coating of natural elements: leaves, seeds, flowers and shells.
Exclusively the seahorse, the starfish and the four-leaf clovers are made through real life casts.

Each leaf is accompanied by a symbolism. What is its origin?

The significance of trees and plants has always represented, especially in the past, an important factor in the relationship between man and nature.
In ancient cultures everything revolved around natural cycles and its elements, in particular trees, which have always represented the cycle of life and the possibility of relating the three parts of the cosmos: the subsoil (the roots), the earth ( the trunk) and the sky (the crown).
Even in Celtic symbolism, trees have had a great importance and a sacred value, so much so as to give life to the Celtic calendar which brings together about fifteen trees each with its own particularity and original meaning; in particular it was believed that the plant associated with one's date of birth gave energy and vitality to those born under the protection of its branches.

Are Ester Bijoux jewels nickel free?

Yes, our products and all metal components (hooks, chains, brooches, etc.) are plated in gold or silver without nickel.
However, we do not recommend the use of our costume jewelery if you suffer from a severe form of allergy.

Are the products covered by the arranty?

Our jewellery is covered by a two-year warranty for manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.
The following are excluded from guarantee: discoloration of the plating (especially if caused by the use of perfumes or detergents), the normal consequences of wear and aging, any damage or breakage caused by accidental impacts.
Since these are products with a natural base and made in an artisanal way, they are not to be understood as defects: the small imperfections, the asymmetry of the leaves and the normal difference in shape and size between one piece and another as they are the peculiarities of the product natural handmade.

Is it possible to repair a damaged or roken leaf?

No, since it is a natural-based product, it cannot be rebuilt internally and therefore repaired.

What metal do you use for the plating?

The leaves, seeds, flowers and shells, which are the basis of our natural bijoux, are first covered with a thin but very resistant layer of copper, and then are plated with precious metals: 24 kt gold, rose gold ( an alloy of gold, silver and copper) and rhodium-plated silver (which does not darken and maintains its brilliance unaltered).

Are there any precautions I need to pay attention to to take care of my bijoux?

It is preferable to avoid direct contact with cosmetics, perfumes, detergents, alcohol and detergents as they attack the chrome and accelerate the oxidation of metals. After use, it is advisable to keep the jewellery away from direct light sources and protected from dust.
As for cleaning, you can use a clean and soft cloth to polish them.

Return policy

Return of withdrawal for afterthought.
If you have made a purchase through the website www.esterbijoux.com and you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days from the date on which you acquired physical possession of the purchased product, without having to specify the reason and without no penalty. In order to return the product it is necessary to contact the Seller's Customer Care (info@esterbijoux.com), communicating your rethinking. You will be able to submit any explicit declaration of the decision to withdraw from the contract. To facilitate the operations relating to withdrawal, it is advisable (but not mandatory) to indicate the Order Number, the Product / s for which it intends to exercise the right of withdrawal. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send the communication relating to the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. Once the declaration relating to the withdrawal has been made, you will receive feedback from the Seller's Customer Care which will indicate the methods to be used for the return of the Product (s). Once you have received the instructions on how to use for the return, you can proceed with the shipment of the product you want to return to the address that will have been communicated to you by the seller's Customer Care. The direct cost of returning the goods will be at your expense and you can choose the courier you prefer. Please send the goods back without undue delay and, in any case, within 14 days from the day you notified us of your withdrawal from the purchase order. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the 14-day period has expired. Following receipt of the goods (or the demonstration by you that you have returned the goods) and confirmation by the craftsman of the conformity of the returned product (the returned product must be free of signs of wear, abrasions, scratches, scratches, deformations, etc., and complete with all accessory elements such as the attached instructions / notes / manuals, the original packaging / packaging and the warranty certificate if present), all payments made by you, including delivery costs, will be returned to you. As already indicated above, only the direct costs related to the return of the goods will remain at your expense. Refunds
How much will I be reimbursed? All payments made by you, possibly including the costs of delivering the goods if already made at the time of withdrawal. Only the direct cost of returning the goods covered by the purchase contract for which you have exercised the withdrawal will be at your expense. You will also be responsible for the additional costs, if you have expressly chosen a type of delivery other than the least expensive type offered by us.
How will my money be returned? The reimbursement takes place directly in the same manner in which the payment was made (eg on the same credit card used for the order). If the order was placed with the bank transfer payment method, it will be necessary to provide current account data for the refund. The shop operates from the European Union and all transactions, even in foreign currencies, are converted into Euros after payment has been made. For payments in currencies other than the Euro, EsterBijoux still returns the amount in Euro. Attention: the currency amount must be calculated on the exchange ratio on the day the refund is made. Any exchange risks are therefore your responsibility. When will the refund be made? The refund will be processed as soon as the returned product arrives in the warehouse indicated by the seller's Customer Care. Attention: if the payment is made by credit card, the refunds may take a few weeks to be visible on your statement. The refund will be displayed with the description "Refund for return of order no. ............ of the products ....... ". Repair and replacements for non-compliance (warranty right)
No later than 24 months from the date of delivery of the product, it is possible to request repairs or replacements for non-compliance. The communication must take place within 2 months from the date of discovery of the defect, as per regulation.
